Nick Holker

For most of my career I have been involved in various aspects of communications and marketing – predominantly working in well-regarded, specialist, London agencies and consultancies.

Much of my time has been spent in helping organisations, large and small, to understand, define, articulate and communicate their purpose, proposition, values and culture to both internal and external audiences.

Having held client-facing, research, strategic planning and creative roles enables me to provide a crucial link between the consulting and research phases of a project and the development of communications that bring the brand to life.

Most recently I have been working with smaller, emerging businesses helping them to develop a sustainable identity which truly reflects who they are, what they stand for and how they differ from their competition.

I’ve held a number of senior management and client service roles; run creative functions and written award-winning advertisements.

I’ve established and run research and strategic planning functions which have dramatically enhanced client service and business development.

I’ve been involved in three successful start-ups – one a major agency, the second a specialist brand consultancy, the third an Arts and Crafts Gallery.

I’ve worked with clients in virtually every sector and am as comfortable operating at board level as I am running focus groups with apprentices – although the former is often less demanding.
